Looking for Alaska | Book review

Author: John Green

My Recommendation: 5/5

My Review: A Must read. And If you are a Teenager, and you haven't read it yet, Dude What are you even doing in this earth?

Culver Creek. Colonel. Alaska. Pudge. Teenagers. Friendship. Love. Love Triangle? May be. Faith. Adventures. Restlessness.

You just can't get enough of this book. I started reading it in the mid-July and finished it on 26th of July. It gets addictive after that one incident. Obviously, I didn't want to die in suspense so I read it to reach the end of the page.

I would rather say It was inspiring for me and I also regretted a bit because their life was certainly more interesting than mine. Well at least their school days. I mean how come I never kissed anyone during my school days!! 🙄 (I know You wont believe me, so I had to mention it here: I went to a school where all the children used to call each and every classmate of their; brothers and sisters. It was a rule and We had to follow it strictly, well I did take it seriously back then)

AND I realized a lot of things after reading this book.

1- Life is too short. You can die at the most unexpected moment. 2- You need to start doing things instead of just imagining it. 3- FRIENDSHIP IS ALWAYS IMPORTANT THAN LOVE. CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS WISELY. 4- Don't drink occasionally. You would never know when it will turn into a habit. And that's dangerous. Ummmm... you won't listen to me? Will you? 5- Be a Child. No matter Who you are, Whatever your age is, Wherever you live, Don't pretend to be someone you are not.

So, go for it. Give it a read and let me know how was your reaction after the climax!

Thank you for reading!
